Sign a Trespass Letter

A signed trespass letter gives the San Rafael Police Department authority to inspect your property for persons trespassing, sleeping, lodging, residing, or loitering, and to authorize the San Rafael Police Department to act as your agent for the purpose of enforcing the trespassing and unlawful lodging.

Subject Arrested for Residential Burglary

On 02/02/18, at about 0725 hours, San Rafael Police Officers responded to an in-progress burglary at a residence located on Billou St.  The suspect was seen by one of the residents enter the house through an unlocked sliding door, and take multiple items.  The residence was occupied by three adults and two children.  The suspect fled the area, climbing out of a window. 

Officer's, along with SRPD Detectives arrived on the scene and located the suspect a few blocks away.  This suspect matched the description provided by the victim and had stolen property from the residence in her possession.  The suspect, Rebekah Callahan, 35 years old, was taken into custody after a short struggle and charged with the following:  Burglary, child endangerment, possession of stolen property and resisting arrest.
