In early January, 2018 a sixteen-year-old female disclosed to her mother that she had been sexually abused by a former roommate ten years prior. The victim was between five and six years old at the time of the assault. The victim’s mother reported the incident to the San Rafael Police Department.

An investigation determined the suspect abused the victim over an extended period of time while living in the family’s home. Victorio Pedroza Alonzo, 73 of San Rafael was arrested at his place of employment today by San Rafael Police Detectives. He was booked into the Marin County Jail for 288.7 (b) PC, sexual acts with a child under 10 years old, 289 (b) PC, Penetration with a foreign object, and 313.1(A) PC, displaying harmful matter to a child. He is being held on $250,000 bail.
