San Rafael Police, San Rafael Fire, and Santa-Cop Make Special Toy Deliver to Camelot Apartment Fire Victims
San Rafael, CA – The San Rafael Police Department, the San Rafael Fire Department, the San Rafael Santa-Cop Program, and the Salvation Army will be making a toy delivery to the fire victims of the Camelot Apartment fire that was located at 120 Larkspur Street. The fire occurred on Wednesday, 12/26/18, and destroyed at least two apartment units and displaced families.
Police Officers, Firefighters, Santa-Cop volunteers, and members of the Salvation Army will be gathering at San Rafael Fire Station 54 this Saturday, 12/29/18, at 10:00 AM, to make a special toy delivery. The fire station is located at 46 Castro Avenue in San Rafael.
Public safety personnel and volunteers are looking forward to restoring some holiday spirit and hopefully return some smiles to children and their families who were displaced by the fire.
Families and children will have the opportunity to visit with the first responders along with taking tours of the fire trucks and police cars. Fire Engine #52, the first engine to go on the scene at the fire, will also be there for children to see and climb on.
Members of the community are welcome to attend and support this special delivery.
