On March 13, 2020 at about 8:20 am, San Rafael Police Dispatch received a call for a welfare check on a person in a vehicle in the area behind San Rafael High.  SRPD units responded to the area and located a deceased male in a vehicle.

SRPD Detectives responded to the scene and are currently investigating.  This death investigation is ongoing and we are not releasing any information on the deceased.  Chief Deputy Coroner Roger Fielding at the Marin County Coroner’s Office will be the point of contact for the information on the decedent when it is ready for release.  His phone number is 415-473-6043.
