San Rafael Police Investigate Domestic Violence Incident

San Rafael, CA – On Monday, June 1st, 2020, at approximately 1800 hours, San Rafael Police Officers responded to the 500 block of DuBois Street to multiple 911 calls.  One of the callers stated there was a subject bleeding on the ground.

Arriving officers located three subjects with visible injuries.  Two of the subjects suffered major injuries that required immediate medical attention.  Streets in the area were shut down while officers conducted the inquiry.

In the course of the investigation, San Rafael Police Detectives determined that this was an incident of domestic violence.  Both the victim and the suspect suffered major injuries.  This incident remains under active investigation.

There is no threat to the public and the area was reopened later in the evening.
